THREE YORKSHIRE businesses have been awarded top accreditations in recognition of their unrivalled customer service by Investors In Customers (IIC) which assesses customer experiences and satisfaction levels across all industries.
Chartered accountancy firm Clough & Company has been awarded the highest possible rating which describes its customer service as ‘exceptional’, Harrogate based commercial gas supplier CNG received an ‘outstanding’ accreditation and waste management firm Yorwaste was given a ‘superior’ rating.
IIC independently assesses customer satisfaction levels through anonymous surveys undertaken with customers, employees and other business connections. The criteria looks at how a company ensures its customers are the main drivers for processes, innovation and profitability throughout its operations.
Steven Gash, Practice Chairman at Clough & Company, explains: “We have always treated customer service as one of our main priorities and this award proves that we listen to our customers and provide them with exactly what they are looking for. At a time when many accountancy firms are merging we have always prided ourselves on maintaining both our independent and chartered status, which enables us to forge extremely strong relationships with our clients and this is certainly reflected in this accreditation.”
Neil Craig, Managing Director of IIC, adds: “In these austere economic times it’s more important than ever that businesses ensure they offer the highest levels of customer service. These three businesses have all achieved this by putting their customers at the heart of everything they do and thoroughly deserve these accreditations which will act as a big incentive for potential new customers.”
