Our audit process will therefore not only meet with the requirements of the legislation, but also look into real positive ways of improving the business systems and controls by drawing on experience gained from conducting similar reviews of other companies. This often results in us recommending ways that may improve performance and profitability.

Any such recommendations would be set out in a report that is provided as part of the audit process. For this reason many clients for whom an audit is not mandatory instruct us to carry out an audit or an assurance review. An assurance review is one that can be tailored to clients' specific needs at the end of which an accountants' report would be provided on their financial statements.
