We have a specific team that specialises in the audit of this third sector which is headed by Lesley Kendrew.

We work closely with directors, governors, charity trustees and chief executives to ensure that the regulations and responsibilities, as set out by the Charity Commisioner, the DfE and the Companies Act, are understood and enforced.

We are able to act as either external auditor to academies or undertake the internal role of responsible officer.

We are currently speaking with schools about how to convert to academies and are advising governors during the transitional period.  We understand the need to meet DfE deadlines and have the resources and experience to ensure such are met.
